Doctor Henry Walton Jones Jr. is investigating the ancient
kingdom of Mustang, a strange caves hidden in the Himalayan mountain rage. His

an old copy of a book... the Book of Shadows... the Al Azif.

german army, that with the men of the Ahnenerbe will try to find the Book of Shadows
anticipating Indiana Jones.
During his investigation, Indy will discover more about this
terrible book, and about his author, Abdul Alhazred, better known as the “mad
arab”.
Abdul Alhazred, a writter from Sanaa in Yemen, traveled
through the ruins of Babylon, the "subterranean secrets" of Memphis
and the Empty Quarter of Arabia, where he discover strange secrets of the
unknown world. In his last years, he lived in Damascus, where he wrote Al Azif
before his sudden and mysterious death in the year 738.
Al Azif, an Arabic word that whose meaning is "that
nocturnal sound (made by insects) supposed to be the howling of demons".
This book gained considerable importance in the subsequent years, though
surreptitious circulation amongst the philosophers of the age. In 950, it was
translated into Greek and given the title Necronomicon by Theodorus Philetas, a
important scholar from Constantinople. This version was suppressed and burnt in
1050 by Patriarch Michael. From that moment, different versions of the Book of
Shadows appear in the world.
It was translated from Greek into Latin (1228) by Olaus Wormius,
Danish scholar, util the Pope Gregory IX banned the both versions (Greek and
Latin), but the ancient texts says that one of the translations of Olaus
Wormius, printed in spanish over the
17th century, still exist.

According to History of the Necronomicon the very act of
studying the text is inherently dangerous, as those who attempt to master its
arcane knowledge generally meet terrible ends. Indiana Jones will be involved
in this dark adventure, traveling to different countries and trying to find the
most dark secrets of this world…
